Clair Joy is passionate about all things coffee and tea. She created Layered Brew to share good energy and plant based foods, drinks, and desserts with the world. She grew up learning to cook from her mother in Montana, who had her own catering business and dreamed of opening a tea shop. She is continuing that dream and bringing communities together to celebrate good food, drinks, friends and family.
Prior to opening her Layered Brew location in Columbus, she served the City of San Francisco as a Senior Advisor to three City Mayors. She also worked for over a decade leading local nonprofit economic development programs that supported low-income communities in getting access to affordable housing, small business, and employment services.
Clair Joy has also helped transform the media through sharing her own family's story of overcoming adversity and finding joy in several award winning films.
